cPanel Enkompass Windows Control Panel release announced

cPanel has finally announced the release of the Enkompass Windows Control Panel. cPanel Enkompass was designed with Windows technology, aiming for utilization in a Distributed Computing Environment (DCE). Enkompass servers will be able to handle numerous Windows domain servers up to the data center, and also allow users of this service to pay for as many users as are needed. cPanel Enkompass will be compatible with either the SmarterMail (by SmarterTools) or the MailEnable e-mail systems.

The Enkompass Windows Control Panel will feature the Active Directory. The Active Directory is a Microsoft technology that utilizes Kerberos-based authentication. With Active Directory, user information and reseller privileges are secure and scalable.  Enkompass will allow you to add servers with speed, and only pay for the licenses you require for each type of server, which should lower software licensing costs.  This offering will help many business expand, as Netcraft estimates that Microsoft IIS7 has 30% market share: it is installed on over 60 million servers worldwide. Many web hosting plans can reasonably charge a premium price for Windows Hosting, so it also offers a new path to profitability.
