Dyn Inc. Acquires SendLabs

Managed DNS provider Dyn Inc. has recently acquired email delivery firm SendLabs at ‎an undisclosed price.

‎ DNS clients were clamoring for a firm outbound email delivery solution. Web 2.0 and e-‎commerce based clients have a need for automated bulk and transactional email ‎functionality. This was an opportunity to provide customers with an useful infrastructure ‎service. SendLabs offers a broad range of email solutions for enterprises using their API-‎rich SmartMTA technology and Dyn Inc. would be leveraging the application. ‎SmartMTA improves SMTP delivery by intelligently lining up and presenting each ‎message.‎

Dyn Inc. had been offering four core consumers and small business enterprises with ‎email services on DynDNS.com. The new acquisition would strengthen their email ‎gateway, provide backup, forward and outbound SMTP tools and deliver other intelligent ‎MTA (Message Transfer Agent) and API-driven services.‎
