Codero Finishes SAS 70 Type II Audit

Codero, a self-described Infrastructure-as-a-Service provider, is a well-known web hosting service provider which offers hosting service ranging from dedicated servers to managed servers. They have sizes to meet any business’ budget, from as low as $60/month managed servers to high performance $200/month powerhouses. Each dedicated package is customizable with features from RAM and CPU to bandwidth and IP addresses. Codero now reports that it has completed the SAS70 Type II audit.

Shawn Hashmi, Director of Operations at Codero, stated:

This new audit from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), called the SAS 70 Type II Audit, was created in 1992. The AICPA’s SAS 70 Type 2 Audit is used to demonstrate transparency while proving the security of internal controls.
