Windows Phone 7 Plans To Double Global Reach

Windows Phone 7 is being made available to the entire global population by the end of ‎‎2011. Microsoft has set a target to grow from 42 per cent of the world’s smart-phone market to ‎a market share in excess of 88 per cent in this very year. Certain difficulties encountered ‎with the phone in some countries, such as Poland, would also be fixed this year. ‎

It is predicted that the chances of a Windows Phone 7 user recommending to buy a Windows Phone to their nearest and dearest friends, to be nine out of ten cases. ‎

Newer models of WP7 would carry hardware acceleration to run on the web browser ‎Internet Explorer 9, access data stored on Microsoft’s cloud-based Skydrive, and would ‎be compatible with the company’s Xbox Kinect video games accessory. Twitter would ‎also find a place in WP7’s ‘People Hub’. Multitasking capability will be improved. The ‎new update would hit the stands in the first two weeks of March. ‎

Microsoft’s new pact with Nokia, makes Windows Phone 7 the operating system for the ‎Nokia’s smart-phone handsets. Nokia said the deal could be worth many times ‎over in the coming years. ‎
