Verizon Wireless: iPhone Pre-orders Sail Smooth

Verizon Wireless had a relatively soft and smooth start as the pre-order processes for the ‎long-awaited Verizon iPhone began. ‎

The company has started taking pre-orders from their existing Verizon Wireless clientele. ‎The process of selling the iPhone to all other consumers through online stores and retail ‎locations would commence from 10th February 2011. ‎

It may be recalled that during the month of June, 2010, AT&T had started their iPhone ‎pre-order sales and there was overwhelming response to the same by customers trying to ‎pre-order the iPhone 4. Unfortunately, the orders could not be processed through the ‎AT&T channel, and many customers were disappointed after their pre-purchase attempts ‎timed-out and failed. ‎

This time around, although some customers experienced slow page loading and opening ‎on the Verizon Wireless Web site, many people were able to complete their orders.‎

A contradicting report says that many customers who could not get connected to the web, ‎felt very disappointed. ‎
