Millions of users who eagerly hitched on to Skype were unable to make or take phone calls using their unique service on Wednesday.

As problems arose in some versions of Skype, many of these supernodes had to be withdrawn from being online. There is a need to create new and fresh ‘mega-supernodes’ quickly, in order to return to square one- the normal position. This may take several hours before the normalcy is restored. Their notification also states that ‘Skype Connect and Skype Manager continue to function normally.
