Steve Jobs’s Unique Marketing Strategy

The unique persistence of Steve Jobs to be very detail-oriented in his business plans has made Apple to become one of the best companies in the world. Apple treats all its products as if they were individual persons and not as objects. This can be inferred from the way they are referred to -  eg: “our “iPhone does this” instead of “the iPhone does this”.

Apple is known for its products and has seen a major hike in its sales ever since the iPod was released, and its run has since then been phenomenal. Combine Apple’s panache for creating something new, something entirely fresh, visually appealing and vibrant with a strong marketing plan and you have a perfect sales pitch.  Apple’s products – iPod, iPhone, iPod touch and the recently released iPad have found its way into the markets, and eventually into domestic circles thanks to Apple’s out of the box marketing approach.

This concern makes one notice Apple differently.  They are seen as valuable assets to be possessed. You can see this subtle differentiation even in their advertisements. Actual people represent their products in Mac advertisements, which is clear evidence. It is as though they are extending their ‘Think different’ ideology further. That is a smart move which can go a long way in capturing the market.
