The Viera Tablet From Panasonic
Panasonic Viera HDTVs; shortly to hit the market, is Panasonic’s version of the Viera tablet.
The Android-based handheld device would contain intuitive touch control, and access various cloud-based services through Panasonic Viera HDTVs. Panasonic is expanding the Viera 3DTV market and also in developing content development for the TV market. The Viera tablet would offer various screen size options from four to 10 inches as a “tablet-type terminal” that would function closely with the HDTV as an enhanced remote control with access to the TV’s various applications such as Facebook or Twitter or even shop online. It can also function as a sub-screen to view scenes from the HDTV at different angles. This might yltimately lead to keyboard-less netbook, or an ebook reader with a screen. The tablet has been launched in Japan.
