OnApp Releases OnApp 2.1 Version

Cloud software provider OnApp recently released version 2.1 of their cloud management ‎software. OnApp was officially launched in September, 2010 when the company ‎deployed close to 35,000 virtual servers on various clouds to around 30 hosting ‎providers. ‎

OnApp software is capable of increasing cloud hosting adoption by providing their Web ‎hosts fully-featured cloud services with minimal up-front investments in software, ‎infrastructure and integration. Their latest version, OnApp 2.1, contains features that ‎make cloud hosting more accessible to a larger network of hosts, with better options for ‎private clouds, cloud resource billing and resilience, and KVM hypervisor support. ‎Existing customers are provided OnApp 2.1 version without any charges, new customers ‎with up-to 100 CPU cores can avail the version for 12 month long free trial offer, and ‎later a very low monthly license fee would be charged.‎

It is easier than ever to build a successful cloud hosting business, using an OnApp 2.1 ‎version. Private clouds, public clouds, hybrid clouds and VPS clouds are being offered, ‎with their expanded hyper-visor support, and newly introduced utility billing for IOPS. ‎OnApp was the only cloud management tool designed specifically for hosts.‎
