DNS solutions provider Nominum has joined hands with government IT solutions ‎provider Carahsoft Technology Corp. to rally support for Nominum’s government related ‎efforts. Carahsoft would assist Nominum as a contract aggregating and distributing partner ‎for government related work assignments, and be responsible for services related to sales, marketing ‎and resource mobilization to enhance demand for Nominum related solutions.‎

The task of protecting nation’s networks and the valuable data transmitted through these ‎networks, against malware and planned attacks, had become very important and crucial. ‎Nominum was committed to use their proven technology to prevent these threats ‎occurring at the DNS enabling government agencies and safeguard their network and data ‎against various cyber threats. Nominum was very eager to work with Carahsoft in order to ‎provide their Intelligent DNS solutions to all other public sector networks to help the ‎government departments overcome cyber security challenges.‎ Nominum is of the view that through this alignment, they could together pursue ‎opportunities within the government departments aggressively.

Nominum’s DNS solutions were ‎capable of protecting various networks from security breaches related to cache poisoning, ‎DDoS based attacks and leakage of information.
