iTunes App Mashable can now be downloaded for free

Mashable reports that Mashable, an iTunes Link application, has been downloaded over ‎‎20,000 times within four days. The product was launched in conjunction with the Mac ‎App Store.‎

You can download the latest Mac OS X update (v10.6.6) by visiting apple.com/mac/app-‎store, and downloading Mashable Mac App. for free. One can navigate, read, save and ‎share Mashable stories on Macs without having to open up the browser or when offline. ‎

The features offered include:‎
‎•‎ Browsing news over channels: Latest news, Social Media, Social Good, Mobile, ‎Web Video, Entertainment, Business, Technology, Dev & Design, Apple and ‎Android.‎

‎•‎ View and share a list of the most recent articles within each channel and the full ‎article in the same view.‎
‎•‎ Share stories via Facebook and Twitter.‎
‎•‎ Post your views and view comments through the application.‎

‎•‎ Mark articles as read or unread; the app keeps count of your unread articles.‎
‎•‎ Read Mashable when you are offline.‎
