Iomart To Migrate Email Accounts To Open-Xchange

UK based hosting and cloud services provider Iomart Group is set to migrate over ‎‎300,000 customer email accounts to the Open-Xchange email and collaboration platform, ‎based on the success of their pilot project.

Iomart’s customers could now upgrade to advanced groupware features and mobility ‎support available in Open-Xchange, with additional value-added services.‎

The group currently offers hosting services to more than 300,000 customers every day ‎through their brands, Easyspace, iomart Hosting, RapidSwitch and the new Titan ‎Internet.‎

Open-Xchange is capable of integrating email, calendar, contact and task management ‎services with advanced groupware features like information management, document ‎sharing, etc along with social network integration. ‎

By opting for the Open-Xchange mobility support, users can receive push email and ‎synchronization of contacts, calendar and other information from their Open-Xchange ‎account to their respective smart-phones.‎

With Open-Xchange’s “Social OX” features, users could consolidate their existing ‎webmail accounts into a corresponding folder in Open-Xchange to manage their accounts ‎more easily. ‎

Additionally, users can automatically update contact details from social networks to the ‎Open-Xchange address book so as to provide access to the latest contact information ‎within their personal network. ‎

Users could also integrate messaging feeds from Twitter and Facebook in order to merge ‎their calendar and address books from Google into their Open-Xchange accounts.‎
