HP Unveils Business Notebooks
HP has unveiled a new line of business notebooks with the new FORGE design framework. The FORGE framework ensures timeless construction with precision-engineered durability fit enough for long-term use.
The new notebook features high quality hinges made of aluminum-alloy, display latches made of cast titanium-alloy, and HP DisplaySafe frame. The various varieties offered are the EliteBooks 8460p and 8560p; the ProBooks 6360b, 6460b, and 6560b; and the ProBook s-series that include the 4230s, 4330s, 4430s, 4530s and 4730s.
The EliteBook 8460p and 8560p notebooks have 14-inch and 15.6-inch diagonal HD LED type back-lit displays, weighing 4.56 pounds and 6.10 pounds respectively. The line peruses the new Intel i7 quad-core processors along with Core i3, i5, and i7 dual-core based CPUs. The rigs are optioned with AMD HD 6470 GPUs or UMA graphics and provided with USB 3.0 ports. The 8460p can operate nonstop for up to 32 hours of runtime per charge with the 9-cell optional battery.
The ProBook s-series range includes the 12.1-inch 4230s, the 13.3-inch 4330s, the 14-inch 4430s, and the 15.6-inch 4530s. The range can be supplemented with Core i7, i5, and i3 processors and features an aluminum deck, gesture-supporting touch-pad, HD web-cams with dual-array mics, and first-rate sound. The system can be co-opted with Power Express Switchable Graphics and Integrated graphics as desired. Fingerprint readers and USB 3.0 ports have also been provided.
