Google On A Pathbreaking Spree

Google has decided to take on board a slew of software experts, product managers, user-‎interface specialists and others who thrive on developing new ideas for mobile ‎applications, and also encourage current employees to change jobs to promote their new ‎approach to work.‎

Handheld devices have revolutionized the marketplace with a host of new applications ‎that are both convenient and affordable. Moreover, smart-phones have created a niche ‎market for various end use applications and there seems to be no limit for newer and ‎smarter applications. Google has sensed an opportunity here to expand their markets, ‎specifically with reference to the Operating Systems developed by their peers to create an ‎edge over their competitors and deluge the market with new applications and offerings.‎

Revenue from mobile applications has grown by leaps and bounds and is expected to ‎triple this year to reach $15.1 billion. Paid downloads and revenue from advertising space ‎generated by a host of free applications, are contributing to this unprecedented growth. ‎Introducing more and better applications in devices specifically operating on Google’s ‎operating systems would contribute to gain new insights in creating niche products, ‎combined with a continuing stream of revenue through multiple channels, to take on new challenges ‎and make competition obsolete.‎
