Documentary Kansas Vs Darvin Celebrating Darwin’s Birthday

Documentary Award-winner Kansas vs. Darwin is celebrating Darwin’s birthday. As a compliment, Kansas vs. Darwin, is being streamed free for 30 days, coinciding with ‎Darwin’s birthday, on February 12, 2011.

The 82-minute Kansas vs. Darwin is a documentary film about the 2005 Kansas Board of Education ‎hearings on evolution and Intelligent Design. The film captures the fierce politics of the ‎conflict. Interviews of the principal participants on both sides are included. The film had ‎won awards at the Secret City Film Festival held at Oak Ridge, Tennessee, and also at the ‎ReelHeART Film Festival in Toronto, Canada. The film was also premiered at the ‎Kansas International Film Festival in 2007. Over 350 institutions worldwide have stocked ‎Kansas vs. Darwin as a part of their library collection as an academic subject.‎
