Comodo Acquires DNS.com, Together Roll Out Comodo Authoritative DNS
Security solutions provider Comodo has acquired the managed domain name system services provider DNS.com, and consequently has launched Comodo Authoritative DNS Service.
DNS.com is providing integrated services and Internet business solutions that are unique. Comodo and DNS.com have a lot in common and their coming together to expand their security services augurs well for their future growth. The two together would provide their customers better and reliable security related services. DNS.com is set to join the Comodo family of enterprises, while the original team members who established the DNS including former CEO Dan Kimball would join Comodo and carry on with the development of DNS related services.
Comodo specializes in providing a range of useful software products meant for enterprises to create trust online, including multi-factor authentication, and PCI/vulnerability scanning.
