All US Based Datapipe Centers Use Renewable Energy
Web hosting provider Datapipe has claimed that all the US based data centers belonging to Datapipe were now powered using 100 percent renewable energy, making Datapipe the only IT Company from New Jersey and one from 13 nationwide companies acting as a member of the EPA’s Green Power Leadership Club.
In tune with the sustainability strategy, the company’s data center in San Jose has also been converted to adopt renewable energy sources for operating the data center. All other data centers based in US had been converted to use renewable energy in 2010 itself.
Datapipe was fully committed in its zeal to become a global leader in sustainable IT. The company has made it a priority to adopt suitable conservation measures into account in every data center. The Company has adopted a 99 percent efficient UPS Energy Saver System and installed an Econo Cooling Configuration, to optimize the efficiency of Computer Room Air Conditioning units, resulting in almost 55 percent power savings. The use of ultrasonic humidifiers, adopted by the Company, results in 90 percent energy savings over traditional humidifying systems.
Datapipe is also well known to support several internalised green initiatives that include recycling programs, waste reduction programs, incentives for mass transit and sustainable services, such as paperless billing etc.
