All US Based Datapipe Centers Use Renewable Energy

Web hosting provider Datapipe has claimed that all the US based data centers belonging ‎to Datapipe were now powered using 100 percent renewable energy, making Datapipe ‎the only IT Company from New Jersey and one from 13 nationwide companies acting as ‎a member of the EPA’s Green Power Leadership Club.‎

In tune with the sustainability strategy, the company’s data center in San Jose has also ‎been converted to adopt renewable energy sources for operating the data center. All other ‎data centers based in US had been converted to use renewable energy in 2010 itself.‎

Datapipe was fully committed in its zeal to become a global leader in sustainable IT. The ‎company has made it a priority to adopt suitable conservation measures into account in every data ‎center. The Company has adopted a 99 percent efficient UPS Energy Saver System and ‎installed an Econo Cooling Configuration, to optimize the efficiency of Computer Room ‎Air Conditioning units, resulting in almost 55 percent power savings.‎ The use of ultrasonic humidifiers, adopted by the Company, results in 90 percent energy ‎savings over traditional humidifying systems.

Datapipe is also well known to support ‎several internalised green initiatives that include recycling programs, waste reduction ‎programs, incentives for mass transit and sustainable services, such as paperless billing ‎etc.‎
