4PSA To Offer Cloud Licensing
Cloud software provider 4PSA has started offering Cloud Licensing, bringing cloud computing flexibility and scalability to software licensing. 4PSA had recently made investments in back-end automation and customer facilities.
Cloud Licensing enables one to simplify all processes related to software licensing. The core principles of cloud computing get applied and imbibes various advantages like simplified provisioning, lower costs, and auto-scaling based on demand. Transparent operating terms, and agile service development make these features attractive. Service providers do not have to incur upfront licensing costs. Customers are free to choose between two levels of Cloud Licensing flexibility, based on end user needs.
The first level, under Basic Cloud Licensing, is targeted for smaller installations, comes with predefined resources, and subscription costs are fixed, suitable for infrastructure services for SMB end-users. When the required resources exceed predefined limits, the license can be upgraded to the next level, Full Cloud Licensing, extending technical support and customers can use the entire range of software features.
The second level delivers unlimited scalability and is suitable for larger installations. Costs vary based on provisioned resources. Charges are payable only for the actual usage, due to transparent and real-time based transactions.
The automation tools enable 4PSA to deliver software licensing for both levels quickly. All processes are automated. Currently Cloud Licensing is available for VoipNow Professional, VoipNow Automation, and DNS sofware automation control panel DNS Manager. Cloud Licensing support for other products would be extended by the end of the year.
